Information & Listing Guidelines
How company information and editorial records will be presented.
Record requirements
- Identity
- A named entity and a company-controlled website or official source.
- Relevance
- Explicit material, product or processing scope.
- Location
- A source-supported production, office or service location.
- Traceability
- Source links, review dates and unconfirmed fields.
- Paid placement
- Advertising and paid placement must be identified as such.
Corrections
Directory inclusion supports research; it does not establish audit status, certification validity, capacity, stock or commercial reliability. Corrections should identify the exact record, the disputed field and supporting official evidence.
Review and publication boundaries
- Company submissions
- Company statements should be identified as supplied information. Keep legal identity, product scope, office, production site and dispatch location distinct. Ask for claim-specific public sources and the date each source was reviewed.
- Incomplete or disputed evidence
- Leave unsupported fields unconfirmed. New submissions and correction requests do not publish automatically; the record may need clarification before an editorial change.
- Commercial relationships
- Any future advertising or paid membership must have separate terms and visible identification. Payment must not be represented as independent verification, guaranteed stock, a supplier ranking or guaranteed buyer enquiries.
- Maintenance
- Published records should retain source links and review dates. A change to capability, location or commercial relationship needs an updated record; do not silently transfer evidence between affiliated companies or sites.
