Exact company and operating-location boundary
The current company website identifies 西南铝业（集团）有限责任公司, abbreviated in Chinese as 西南铝. A January 2026 company procurement notice places the exact entity's production-operation department and office building in Xipeng Town, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. A Chongqing government filing separately records the same legal name and unified social credit code 915000002028029250 at Xipeng Town.
This corrects the existing company record; it does not create another record for Chinalco, the 西南铝 brand, the historical 西南铝加工厂 name, a workshop or a sales office. The contracting entity, actual forging line and dispatch site still require confirmation for each order.
Published forging families and specification limits
The manufacturer product table lists three distinct routes:
- Open-die forgings: 5-series and 2/6/7-series alloy families, up to 10,000 kg, with published supplied states and standards.
- Die forgings: 5-series and 2/6/7-series alloy families, projected area up to 2.5 m², with published supplied states.
- Rolled rings: 2/5/7-series alloy families; wall 50–400 mm, height up to 900 mm and outside diameter 100–6000 mm, with published supplied states and standards.
These are manufacturer catalogue limits, not a current offer. Confirm exact alloy, temper, standard, drawing, tooling, heat treatment, inspection, order quantity and line assignment in writing.
Historical 7050 evidence kept separate
A 2023 company report describes 7050 aluminium-alloy forging development, production and an ARJ die-forging qualification programme. It supports historical manufacturing experience only; it is not a current universal aerospace approval or proof that every proposed part, plant or process is qualified.
